Academic Freedom, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at the Journal of Consumer Research

The Journal of Consumer Research (JCR) is an independent academic journal that remains dedicated to improving academic freedom, diversity, equity, and inclusion in academia.  JCR publishes papers from a broad range of academic disciplinary perspectives, from researchers with a diversity of interests, viewpoints, backgrounds, and lived experiences, conducting research in different contexts and on a wide range of consumer-relevant topics, using those methods that are best suited to improving knowledge on the topic of interest. It is a priority for the journal to be inclusive of a wide range of research participants, experiences, contexts, and research questions, reflecting the diverse consumers and consumption fields that the research in the journal aims to understand.
